However, the default Printing Preferences may slow down the process especially when printing multiple reports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Changing the settings as noted below will <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">vastly<\/span> improve your experience when using Z\u00fcmmer.<br> <br> The instructions below work for Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard Version and Microsoft Windows 10. The procedure may vary with other Versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> 1) Create a New Folder on your desktop named Adobe PDF Output. (Fig. 1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"93\" height=\"112\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.foxquestsystems.net\/foxblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/T231-General-Streamlining-the-Printing-Process-Fig.-1.jpg?resize=93%2C112\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1183\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2)\nClick on the Windows Start button and select Devices and Printers.<br>\n<br>\n3) Right-Click on the Printer Icon used for Adobe Acrobat.\n(Fig. 2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"99\" height=\"139\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.foxquestsystems.net\/foxblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/T232-General-Streamlining-the-Printing-Process-Fig.-2.jpg?resize=99%2C139\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1184\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">a. Set as the Default Printer. Uncheck View Adobe PDF results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">b. Click on the &#8220;Browse\u2026&#8221; button to change the\nAdobe PDF Output Folder setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">c. Select Adobe PDF Output the click OK. Then click OK in\nthe Adobe Acrobat PDF Printing Preferences window. Later, you\ncan view all the PDF files when the print job is complete. A typical Z\u00fcmmer\noutput run will take just a few (2 or 3) minutes to process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> The smallest PDF files by file size are usually blank (about 5-6K indicating that there were no results for that report), therefore, they can be sorted and deleted all at one time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> The instructions above apply to your computer\u2019s user setting. Therefore, this will affect all applications.
