Tracking\nlogic changes can be a nightmare, especially when it comes to large CPM\nnetworks with ever changing scope and conditions. Many schedule specifications\nrequire that for each logic change, a description for the basis of each change\nis provided and specifically identifying the affected activities by Activity\nID. In other words, the Owner is not just interested in what changed, but more\nso, why the change was made. Making matters worse, typically each change\nrequires an individual explanation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Z\u00fcmmer\nprovides you with seven (7) Comparison Reports designed to neatly account for\nevery logic change between Project Updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1&2) Comparison Reports #06\/07 \u2013 Added\/Deleted Logic \u2013 These reports list and total the added\/deleted logic changes between the Control and Modified Project ID. The reports sort by Predecessor Activity ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Comparison Report #10 \u2013 Added\/Deleted Predecessors by Activity ID \u2013 groups predecessor logic changes by Activity ID. The action taken, Added or Deleted Predecessor, is coded as AP or DP. The total count is the sum of Reports #06 and #07.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4)\nComparison Report \u2013 Added\/Deleted Successors by Activity ID \u2013 is the same as\nComparison Report #10 except the action taken, Added or Deleted Successors, is\ncoded as AS or DS. The total count is the same as in Report #10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5)\nComparison Report – Changed Logic By Activity ID \u2013 (Illustrated Below) combines\nthe Added\/Deleted Successors report with the Added\/Deleted Predecessors report.\nSince every logic change affects activities in pairs (the predecessor and the\nsuccessor), this report provides an excellent reference document identifying\neach activity and all the logic changes affecting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6&7)\nComparison Report – Changed Logic that Increases\/Reduces Total Float \u2013 Are\nsubsets of Item #5 above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Change Logic by Activity ID reports also displays, added\/deleted activities, status indicators, and Total Float values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
